BARBADOS MARITIME SHIP REGISTRY

BREAKING NEWS: FAIR WINDS AND FOLLOWING SEAS

captain-peter-j-greenFor more than a decade, our Captain Peter Green has navigated through some very stormy conditions and often mountainous seas to bring the Barbados flag administration through to safer waters. A gentleman at all times, maintaining the highest standards has been second nature to him, and we are sad that he has now decided the time is right for him to retire. Peter will leave us at the end of July 2021.

We know you will all join us in wishing Peter a very long, happy & healthy retirement. We shall all miss you, Sir. We wish you fair winds always.

John Andrew Lee - BMSRPeter’s successor is JOHN ANDREW LEE.  We welcome John to BMSR:  he is eminently well qualified for the task he is undertaking.  With a background in Marine surveying, John is also a Consultant Naval Architect with a PhD from Liverpool John Moores University in Maritime Engineering, an M.Phil from Heriot-Watt University and a B.Eng from the University of New South Wales, Sydney.

John is also a Specialist in ship/offshore classification systems, and in IMO Conventions, added to his practical hands on knowledge of a vast range of vessels world-wide.

We know you will all extend a very warm welcome to John and we wish him every success in his new appointment.
