Congratulations, Giovanni, on the third anniversary of your appointment as CEO & Principal Registrar at BMSR! 

Given your background and experience as a Naval Architect and Marine Engineer and active in so many areas of the maritime industry,  you have transformed Barbados Ship Registry from a quiet, quality flag once described by one of our prominent ship owners as a “great underground success” into the fast growing and well-respected industry it is today.

The role has been challenging and has called on all your skills to modernise the registry and build a strong and capable team.  BMSR has seen extraordinary growth during those three years, having quadrupled the tonnage in less than three years, and the ability to rapidly turn around registration times.

The whole team at BMSR thanks you for rising to the challenge and building a true legacy for the future.
